STARTER PULLEY/ CLUTCH / IGNITION COIL / FLYWHEEL
REASSEMBLY
1. Clean the tapered part of dirt, oil, grease, and other foreign material
before installation.
2. Be sure the woodruff key is set in the key groove properly.
3. Hold the flywheel with the commercially available strap wrench, and
tighten the 8 mm flange nut to the specified torque.
TORQUE: 23 N•m (2.3 kg•m, 17 ft•lb)
IGNITION COIL INSPECTION
PRIMARY RESISTANCE
Attach one lead of the tester to the lead terminal and the other lead of the
tester to the iron core. Measure the primary resistance of the ignition coil.

SECONDARY RESISTANCE
Attach one lead of the tester to the terminal inside the spark plug cap and the
other lead of the tester to the iron core. Measure the secondary resistance of
the ignition coil.

CLUTCH ASSEMBLY INSPECTION
Measure the thickness at the center of the clutch lining.
