IGNITION COIL AIR GAP ADJUSTMENT
Adjustment is required only when the ignition coil or the flywheel has
been removed.
1. Loosen the ignition coil bolts, and insert a feeler gauge
between the ignition coil and the magnetic parts of the flywheel.
2. Push the ignition coil firmly toward the flywheel and tighten the
bolts. Adjust the clearance at the magnetic part of the flywheel.
Specified clearance
3. Adjust both gaps at the right and left sides of the ignition coil
simultaneously so they are equal.
