4. THROTTLE CABLE
INSPECTION
1. Remove the air cleaner cover.
2. Move the throttle lever lightly and check the carburetor side
throttle cable free play.

3. If adjustment is needed, use the following procedure.
ADJUSTMENT
1. Remove the air cleaner.
2. Adjust the throttle cable free play to the specification by
loosening the lock nut and turning the adjust nut.
3. After adjustment, tighten the lock nut to the specification.
TORQUE: 1.8 N•m (0.18 kg•m, 16 in•lb)
4. Tighten the lock nuts and recheck the throttle lever free play.
5. Install the air cleaner cover.
