REMOVAL
1. Disconnect the spark plug cap from the spark plug.
2. Remove the air cleaner cover
3. Disconnect the ignition switch connectors.
4. Remove the 5 x 10 mm socket bolt, and disconnect the ground
cable.
5. Loosen the throttle cable lock nuts, and disconnect the throttle
cable from the swivel.
6. Loosen the 5 x 15 mm bolt, and remove the 5 x 16 mm tapping
screw.
7. Remove the frame pipe assembly from the fan cover.
8. If replacing or maintaining the drive cable, remove the drive
cable and thoroughly grease the entire length of the cable with
about 5 g (0.2 oz) of grease.
