Continuing Your Connection Steps

Connect the SVR Recorder to your telephone line.
Connect the SVR Recorder to your home telephone line. Use the phone cord
(supplied). If you do not have a spare telephone Jack for the SVR Recorder, you
can plug the phone splitter (supplied) mto your telephone Jack. Then plug your
phone mto one of the splitter's Jacks and the SVR Recorder mto the other.

Plug in the SVR Recorder power.
Now you should have everythmg connected and ready to go. Check all the
connectIons one more tIme, then tum on your TV eqUIpment. To tum on the
SVR Recorder, plug the power cord mto the back of the SVR Recorder. After a
few moments, you should see TiVo's Welcome Screen.
If you do not, you may need to change channels or change which mput your TV
uses. If you used RF CoaXIal cable

step 3, make sure you're viewmg the same
channel (3 or 4) that you selected. If you're usmg S-Video or AudioNideo
cables, you'll need to change your TV so that it displays the appropnate mput.
On some TVs, you need to use the "Input" button to sWitch mputs; other TVs
might label thIS the "Select" or "Video" button. Other TVs reqUIre that you keep
changmg channels until the alternate mput IS displayed. If you have trouble,
double-check your connectIons and look for help
