Privacy
Your TiVo Recorder is powered by the TiVo Service. TiVo is
committed to protecting the privacy of your personal infonnation.
TiVo has established a strict privacy policy for the TiVo Service,
which is published on TiVo's website, http://www.tivo.com. We
have reprinted it here as well for your convenience.
Please Note: Our privacy policy may change over time. In
addition to posting any changes on our website, we WIll provide
or send a notice to each TiVo customer before any changes are
implemented. You have our commitment that, regardless of any
changes that might
be
made in the future, you will remain in
complete control of your personal viewing infonnation. Use of
your TiVo Recorder or TiVo Service will signify your acceptance
of these privacy policies.

Summary of TIVo's Privacy Promise to You
TiVo knows how important personal privacy is to you, so we have
established strict policies to help protect the privacy of your
personal information.

summary, we promise that:
1 No one outside your home, not even the TiVo staff or any of
TiVo's computer systems, will ever have access to any of your
personal viewing infonnation without your prior consent.
Your preferences are personal. The TiVo Service has no way
of knowing what shows you have given "Thumbs Up" or
"Thumbs Down" to.
2 If you don't want even your anonymous viewing infonnation
(information that does not identify you or your household)
used in any way, simply tell us by calling our toll-free
telephone number.
3 TiVo will not selL share, or release to companies outside TiVo
the personal infonnation used to create your TiVo account,
(such as your name, shipping address, and credit card
infonnation), without your prior consent except as required to
service your account.
