To record the program, search for it in Browse by Time to find the specific showing
that you purchased. If there are no listings for Pay-Per-View events, use the
"Manually Record Time/Channel" option on the Pick Programs to Record screen
to record the showing.
How do I stop a recording in progress?
Pressing REC while you are recording a program pauses the recording and displays
a screen which allows you to continue or cancel the recording.

What happens when a sports event goes into overtime?
The TiVo Service cannot predict whether a sporting event might go into overtime.
Therefore, we suggest you use the "Manually Record Time/Channel" option on the
Pick Programs to Record screen to record sporting events that are likely to run into
overtime. By using this option, you can specify your own end time. just in case the
game does in fact go into OT.
Can I schedule to record a program that will not be aired for months?
You can use the "Manually Record Time/Channel" feature to setup recordings for
programs that are in the future that are not yet listed in TiVo's program guide.
Can I record directly to my VCR?
Yes. If you own a Sony VCR, you can use the IR connection to save programs to a
videotape in the VCR using the "Save to VCR" function. This is described in the
section "Now Playing List" on page 24.
