SATELLITE orCABLE BOX
Connect the SVR Recorder to Cable or satellite box
If your satellite box has a serial input, connect the
serial control cable from the SVRRecorder's upper'
Control Out to your satellite box. You may need to
use the ada21er or the alternate Home Cont:rol

If your cable or satellite box does

have a serial
input, connect the IR Control Cable from the SVR
Recorder and attach one of the emitters 'to 'your
cable or satellite box infront of the IR window,

box and a satellite box, in which case refer to the '

Connect Phone and Power

Connect Satellite or Cable Box to SVR Recorder
Choose the best video cable connections available
on your set top box:
(good) RF coaxial cable
(better)
Composite video
with R/L audio cables (shown)

S-Video cable with R/L audio cables
Connect the video cable, f,ro,'m your set to],.,.box's
output to the SVR Recorder's input, see

Connect the SVR Recortter to your TV
Choose the bestvideocaQle connections available
on your Nand

Note: If you used RF coax cable as your video cable
from the SVR Recorder's output, then set the SVR
Recorder Ch 3/4 switch and your TV to the same
