Note: If you used RF coax cable as your video cable
fromtheSVR Recorder's output, thenset the SVR
Recorder Ch3!4 switch and yo'ur TV to the same
channel.
Connect the SVR Recorder to cable or satellite box

has a serial Input, connect the
serial control cable from the SVRRecorder's upper
Control Out to your satellite box. You may need to
use the adar>ter or the alternate Home Control
Cable, see
G.
If your cable or satellite box does not have a serial
Input, connect the IR Control Cable from the SVR
Recorder and attach on~ of the emitters to your
cable orsatellite box infrontofthe IR window,
see
G.
(You should ignore the second emitter ,
unless your connection setup includes both a cable
box

Connect Phone and Power
When you are done connecting everything, see
"Connect a telephone line" and "Power on 1mqtune'
