Currents
Press again to display a graph of
STAR
currents. This screen is very similar to the
TideTrack screen. Choose the time, day, or
location of a current station in the same
way as described above. Currents are
displayed as flood (above the base line),
ebb (below the base line). Maximums and
minimums are shown in the lower right
corner.
You may often see discontinuities in the
currents graph. These are not errors — they
are caused by rotary currents that inher-
ently do not have a smooth transition as
the tide goes in and out.
