• If an MCP is behind a firewall and OSM is outside the firewall, ports 5000, 5003, and
5200 (TCP) must be open to the private IP address of the MCP.
Detail procedures for each of the steps above are as follows:
SETTING NETWORK PARAMETERS THROUGH MMC 830
Set the network parameters of the system. Contact the network manager when setting
values for the network parameters.
1) Set the IP address of the system.
2) Set the subnet.
3) Set the gateway address.
4) Reset the board.
Board Reset
New settings are applied only after the board is reset. The system may
malfunction if the board is not properly initialized.
