Next connect the output from the MIS daughter card to a customer provided paging
system or other suitable customer provided speaker,
7.2.4 Connecting Common Bell
A customer-provided loud ringing device can be controlled using a dry contact pair on
the MIS daughter board.
Common bell connections should be wired to the MISC1 and MISC2 ports of the MCP
board. MIS optional daughter board should be installed on the MCP board.
By using MMC 204 programming allows for interrupted or continuous operation of the
contacts. The interrupted selection follows the CO ring cadence, 1 sec ON/3 sec OFF.

• MISC 1 and MISC 2 ports are located on the front panel of the MCP.
WARNING: Do not attempt to connect commercial AC power to these contacts.
1) After connecting a common bell, you must assign it in MMC 601 to a group as a
ring destination by using the code for common bell.
2) After wiring to the contact pair, set contacts for continuous or steady operation.
