[Connected Ethernet Controller Setting] for the multiple CPU system configuration
When the Ethernet connection type is EtherNet/IP (AB Tag), the GOT can monitor in the multiple
CPU system configuration by setting a different [Slot No.] for the device with the same IP address
in [Connected Ethernet Controller Setting].
The following shows [Connected Ethernet Controller Setting] in the following system
configuration.

(Example of [Connected Ethernet Controller Setting])
In the above mentioned [Connected Ethernet Controller Setting] example, the GOT monitors the
CPU as follows.
• When [Net No.]: 1 and [Station No.]: 1 are set for an object, the GOT monitors the CPU whose
slot No. is 0.
• When [Net No.]: 1 and [Station No.]: 2 are set for an object, the GOT monitors the CPU whose
slot No. is 1.

(1) Communication interface setting by the Utility
The communication interface setting can be changed on the Utility's [Communication setting]
after writing [Communication Settings] of project data.

(2) Precedence in communication settings
When settings are made by GT Designer3 or the Utility, the latest setting is effective.
(3) Setting IP address and port No
The same IP address cannot be set for the same port No.The same IP address can be set for
the different port No.
