Processing details
• This instruction stops program execution and generates a stop error (error code: 3070H) in the CPU module. When the
instruction is executed, SM0 turns on and the ERROR LED of the CPU module flashes. SM1 does not turn on.
• Data (16-bit signed binary) specified by (s) is stored in the detailed information 2 of the error code 3070H.
• The PABORT instruction is useful for debugging since a stop error can be simulated at the start-up of the
system. The instruction execution point can be identified by checking the detailed information 2 of the error
code 3070H.
• If any problem occurs in an external device connected to the standby system, the PABORT instruction
prevents the systems to be switched by generating a stop error in the standby system.
Operation error
There is no operation error, except the error (error code: 3070H) which occurs by executing the PABORT instruction.
