"Braking Module" function module
Acknowledgement of faults
When the Braking Module issues a fault message at binector input p3866, an
attempt is made to acknowledge the fault using signal p3861 at terminal X21.1
Booksize or X21.3 Chassis every 10 ms. Alarm A06900 is simultaneously is
output.
Fast DC link discharge (booksize)
It is only possible to quickly discharge the DC link via the Braking Module for the
booksize design. It is activated via binector input p3863 and started after the line
contactor opens and the adjustable delay time (p3862) has expired. The fast dis-
charge is completed when the line contactor contact closes.
Notice
Prerequisites for a fast DC link discharge is to use a line contactor with feedback
signal (p0860) that is controlled via r0863.1.
