Technology function: friction characteristic
Commissioning via parameters
In p382x, speeds for the measurement are predefined as a function of the
maximum speed p1082 during initial commissioning. They can be changed
appropriately.
p3845 can be used to activate the automatic friction characteristic curve recording.
The characteristic curve is recorded the next time a pulse is enabled.
The following settings are possible:
S p3845 = 0
S p3845 = 1
The friction characteristic curve is recorded in both directions of rotation. The
result of the positive and negative measurement is determined and entered in
p383x.
S p3845 = 2
S p3845 = 3

When the friction curve is being recorded, the drive triggers movements in the
motor that can reach the maximum motor speed.
The emergency OFF functions must be fully operational during commissioning.
To protect the machines and personnel, the relevant safety regulations must be
observed.
Commissioning via STARTER
In STARTER, the friction characteristic curve can be commissioned via the screen
under "Functions".
