7 . To verify that the prompts are localized, make a call to the Auto Attendant . From an internal
phone, you can press the Setup button, then press 1 - Directory, then 2 - Corporate Directory,
and then scroll down to find and select the number for the Auto Attendant .

Localizing the Time

Configuration of local time is important in LVS, for several reasons: It is used for Autoattendant
daytime vs . nighttime configuration, for voicemail date and time record and date and time shown in
the phone display . By default, the system provides time synchronized with US .
To configure local time in LVS, perform the following steps:
1 . Start Internet Explorer, and enter the IP address of the SPA9000 . Click
right of the corner of the page, and then click Advanced .
Router tab > WAN Setup .
2 . Click
3 . In the Optional Settings section, enter the Primary (and optional secondary) NTP Server address,
such as time .nist .gov .
Submit All Changes . The SPA9000 and phones reboot .
4 . Click
Voice tab > Regional .
5 . After reboot, click
6 . In the Miscellaneous section, select the appropriate country Timezone .
7 . Configure the appropriate Daylight Saving Rule (default value is for US), according to the table
below .
8 . Click Submit All Changes . The SPA9000 and phones reboot .
