Mailbox Status:
Click Voice tab > Line 2 . In the Proxy and Registration section, check the
Mailbox Status field . You should see a listing for each extension that you configured with voice
mail .
Voice Mail:

Enabling Remote Voice Mail Access (Optional)

Follow this procedure to allow users to access their voice mail remotely .
NOTE:
If your users will call into your voice mail system through an ITSP line, your ITSP must support
out-of-band DTMF .

Start Internet Explorer, and then enter the IP address of the SPA9000 . Click
then click Advanced .

Click
Voice > SIP .

Scroll down to the
Auto Attendant Parameters section .

Edit the
AA Dial Plan 1 string to include a code for the voice mail server, as described below .
SYNTAX:
(10x|xxx .|<dialcode:vmmN>)
EXAMPLE:

The digit that users dial, when prompted by the Auto Attendant, to access voice
mail remotely .
NOTE:
The Contact List for this line must be configured for the Auto Attendant to answer .
