The following features are located on the top of the device (from left to right):
The power supply unit and attached cable (included in the shipment) can be
inserted into the power supply jack to provide electrical power from any standard
EURO power supply socket with a primary voltage of from 100 Vac to 240 Vac.
NOTE: When connected to an external AC power supply, XILON's internal
batteries are automatically recharged, by default.
This RS232 serial interface (main feature: Dsub9 socket) features nine pins having
the following functions:
1.
Pin 1 is DCD (Data Carrier Detect) and is internally connected with pin 4 and
pin 6.
2.
Pin 2 is TxD (Transmitted Data).
3.
Pin 3 is RxD (Received Data).
4.
Pin 4 is DTR (Data Terminal Ready) and is internally connected with pin 1
and pin 6.
5.
Pin 5 is the ground wire.
6.
Pin 6 is DSR (Data Set Ready) and is internally connected with pin 1 and pin
4.
7.
Pin 7 is the RTS (Request to Send) and is internally connected with pin 8.
8.
Pin 8 is the CTS (Clear to Send) and is internally connected with pin 7.
9.
Pin 9 is not used.
This socket is for connecting, via the 1.5-meter-long L
the attached RJ11 connector, XILON to the L
supplying it with power (12...24 Vdc or 24 Vac). The socket hence consists of the
following six pins:
1.
Pin 1 is for connection to LON network A (the pink L
2.
Pin 2 is for connection to LON network B (the gray L
3.
Pin 3 is not connected (i.e. not used).
4.
Pin 4 is not connected (i.e. not used).
5.
Pin 5 is for connection to the ground (the brown wire).
6.
Pin 6 is for connection to the 0.5 amp, 24 Vac/dc power supply (the white
wire).
XILON is connected to the L
