NOTE: If the database line displays "SCANxx" as the location string (xx indicating
a two digit number), then something has malfunctioned. It might be an
address conflict. I.e. the XILON and the L
the service pin message might have the same subnet address (see also
"Troubleshooting / FAQ"). But note: The result is the same if there is too
much traffic on the LON® bus.
Once the "Service Pin" function has been successfully carried out (i.e. XILON has
received a service pin message from a node), the corresponding node is entered
into XILON's database automatically, and such functions as "I/O Functions " and
"All Automatic" can then be utilized, as desired.
The search node function can be used to select a node. XILON can find all of the
nodes of the domains to which it belongs. Additionally, it can also find nodes of all
other domains if these nodes are able to respond to a Query ID message.
NOTE: In searching for nodes, the letters "ff" are used as a wildcard, i.e. they
stand for an arbitrary byte of the six-byte NID or of the eight-byte PID (two
hexadecimal digits represent one byte).

NOTE: The user must select the node before he can use the "Honeywell I/O"
function or the "Honeywell Configuration" function.
