The following features are located on the front and side of the device:
The LCD display consists of a 64 x 128 pixel display. The contrast is adjusted using
the contrast control screw (see below).
When the device is first turned on, a Honeywell-specific start-up menu appears.
The reset button is located on the left-hand side of the device. Because it is
recessed, you must use a pointed tool to press it; this is intended to prevent
accidental resetting.
The contrast control screw is located on the right-hand side of the device. It is
recessed, but can be turned using a screwdriver to increase/decrease the contrast.
The alphanumeric keypad consists of 45 keys arranged in nine rows. Some of the
keys have dual functions which can be activated by first pressing the <SHIFT> key.
The top two rows represent the first ten letters of the alphabet as well as ten
special functions.
The power supply unit and attached cable include a EURO plug permitting the
cable to be plugged into any standard EURO power supply socket with a primary
voltage of from 100 Vac to 240 Vac. The power supply unit has a built-in
transformer which steps this current down to the 24 Vac current which XILON
needs to operate.
NOTE: A mechanical adapter is required For U.K. and U.S. power supply sockets.

carrying L

signals, and the other two can be used to supply XILON with

24 V current.
A CD-ROM on which technical information (including a PDF file and a terminal
program for upgrading the BIOS and/or the XILON application) is also contained in
the delivery (see also "Downloading and Upgrading Honeywell Firmware" on page
31).
