Deleting single items
Deleting all items
Pressing <SHIFT> and then the <F6> hot key initiates the "Change Status"
function, i.e. the node is placed in one of the following four states:
1)
configured/online,
2)
configured/offline,
3)
unconfigured, or
4)
applicationless.
Pressing <SHIFT> and then the <F7> hot key initiates the "Node Reset" function.
The effects of this function are node-specific. In the case of an Excel Smart I/O, for
instance, it would result in a motor sync totalizer reset.
Pressing <SHIFT> and then the <F8> hot key initiates the "Node Exchange"
function.
When in the toolbar menu, you can delete either individual or all items (i.e. the
Neuron IDs of the different nodes attached to the L
XILON's database.
Press <INS> (thus automatically selecting the database) and then use the <Pg
Up> and/or <Pg Dn> keys to go to the item which you wish to delete. You can then
press <SHIFT> and <DEL>, thus deleting the selected item.
Press <SHIFT> and <*> to select all of the nodes in the L
can then press <SHIFT> and <DEL> to delete all of the items. You will be asked to
confirm this with <ENTER>.
If a value (see also section "I/O Functions" on page 23) is selected, press
<ENTER> to change the value. The status line will be converted into an input line.
The character in front of the prompt symbol ":" provides information about the input
format:
d
signed decimal value with sign,
u
unsigned decimal value,
f
floating point value e.g. -1.4
Valid keys for the different input formats are:
d
digits <0> .. <9>, <SHIFT><->
u
digits <0> .. <9>
f
digits <0> .. <9>, <.>, <SHIFT><->
After a valid key has been pressed, the cursor jumps to the next input position.
Further possible keys:
<DEL.>
Deletes a character at the left of the cursor
<ENTER> complete input (accept)
<ESC>
abort input (discard input)
After <ENTER> has been pressed, a check will be performed to determine if the
value is in the valid range or if it contains invalid characters.
If there was an error, the input line will show a symbol at the position where the
colon previously had been. This symbol depends on the type of the error:
