Binary IO module (BIO)
BIO structures
5.6.1
BIO modules are combined with an ordering number. The combined modules are mounted
correspondently in IED case. If 1/3 size case is selected, the BIO modules are used for IO#1-1
and IO#1-2. When 1/2 size case is selected, the BIOs are used for IO#1-1, IO#1-2, IO#2, and
IO#3. Table 5.6-1 shows the number of binary input and output circuits, the structures of which
will be described in Figure 5.6-1 to Figure 5.6-3.
