Reverse active power protection (RP)

The RP function consists of two stages (elements) independently (RP1 and RP2).
RP1 element characteristic

Figure 2.29-1 shows the characteristic of the RP1 element.
Determination of active power flow:
The user shall set a direction about active power, which the user can find the
corresponding information in Chapter 9.2.4(i). Set either DEP, Send, or Reactive for
setting [PR-Power] to define the direction:

Operation judgement of RP element:
The PR1 element can operate if the pick-up value of active power (P) is less than
threshold setting [RP1]. The RP1 element will return when the P is greater than the
reset condition, at which the user can set with Equation (2.29-1):
Reset condition=setting [ RP1 ] × setting[RP1-DPR]
