Unit structure
(i)
The unit structure is shown in Figure 5.2-2 (a). A unit is made of VCT, CUP and BIO modules.
They are jointed using HMI front panel. A case will be used to cover the unit. UBS port is
provided for the maintenance.

Figure 5.2-2 (b) and (c) show the rea view and schematic diagram of the rear view. VCT is
mounted at terminal label "VT". IO module "IO#1" is mounted at terminal labels "T1 and T2"†,
whereas the other IO modules are mounted at "T3" and "T4". Communication modules are
mounted at terminal labels "C1, C2, and C3"‡.
