Chapter 10 UPS maintenance
Powering off the UPS unit
UPS LCD Control Panel
1. Press the X On/Off button on the UPS LCD Control Panel at the front. The UPS goes
into Standby mode
2. Switch the upstream circuit breaker off which protects the UPS unit. This will cut the
utility power to the UPS unit
3. Do not work on the UPS immediately. Wait some 15 minutes before performing any
work on the UPS unit. This will reduce the risk of an electrical accident
