Chapter 10 UPS maintenance
Rebooting the UPS
The UPS unit does not provide a reboot function as such. Rebooting the UPS unit requires a
shutdown and restart of the UPS unit.
Shutting down the UPS completely
1. Press the X On/Off button on the UPS LCD Control Panel at the front. The UPS goes
into Standby mode
2. Switch the upstream circuit breaker off which protects the UPS unit. This will cut the
utility power to the UPS unit
3. Wait some 15 minutes in order to ensure that there power in the UPS unit itself
