Appendix.4 Installing the BootOS

This section explains how to install the BootOS to the GOT.

(1) Since the BootOS has been installed to the GOT at factory shipment, installing BootOS is not usually
necessary.
However, the BootOS needs to be upgraded (newly installed) to use a function which the BootOS of the GOT
does not support, such as an upgraded function of GT Designer3.
To initialize the GOT to the factory shipment condition, install the BootOS.
(2) When the BootOS is installed, the existing package data is automatically deleted.
If backing up the project data is required, read the project data to a personal computer or a data storage
before installing the BootOS.

Click [Communication] - [Write to GOT] from the
menu.

Select [BootOS] in [Write Data].
