About This Chapter
The MCU is an MCU that supports hybrid access through H.323 and the Session Initiation
Protocol (SIP).
The MCU is managed by the HUAWEI SMC2.0 or ViewPoint ResourceManager (hereinafter
referred to as the RM), MediaManager and the ViewPoint vSwitch System (hereinafter
referred to as the SwitchCentre). The MCU provides videoconferencing and streaming
services over the broadband network, and it can be easily deployed in small and medium
videoconferencing networks.
1.1 Product Features
The 8650C is a high-density MCU that provides multiple services and is easy to operate and
maintain. It provides functions such as video processing, audio mixing, signaling exchange,
and network interface.
The MCU supports the following protocols and standards:

Supports four levels of cascading.
Supports multi-channel cascading.
Supports video firewall mode.
Supports H.460.
