7.3.2 Adding a Participant
On the SMC2.0, the administrator can search for a participant by its IP address to obtain the
configuration information of the participant. After checking and modifying the configuration
information, the administrator can add the participant to the SMC2.0. The modifications are
synchronized to the participant. This enables the administrator to manage the participant on
the SMC2.0.
Configuring the SNMP
This document uses the HUAWEI ViewPoint 9000 HD videoconferencing endpoint as an
example.
Step 1 Log in to the endpoint web interface.
For details, see
Step 2 Choose System Settings > Network > SNMP Settings.
The SNMP Settings page is displayed, as shown in
Figure 7-8 SNMP Settings
Step 3 Set Enable SNMP to Enable.
Step 4 Set Trap version to v3 trap.
Step 5 Enter the SMC2.0 servers' IP addresses in Trap server address 1 through Trap server 3
respectively.
Step 6 Click Save.
