9.3 Installing Power Distribution Devices

9.3.1 Installing UPS2000-G Battery Packs

Prerequisites



Context
The battery pack cable connections are different for a single UPS2000-G and a parallel
UPS2000-G system. Follow the battery pack wiring diagram for the specific solution.
Preparations
Tools: insulation gloves, insulation shoes, torque screwdriver, flat-head screwdriver, Phillips
screwdriver
Materials: UPS2000-G battery pack and insulation gloves
Documents: power supply device layout diagram, cabinet configuration table, and
UPS2000-G battery pack wiring diagram
Skill requirement: personnel qualified for installing batteries
Procedure
Step 1 Determine the battery pack installation position based on the power supply and distribution
device layout diagram and cabinet configuration table.
Step 2 Install the battery pack.

All installations must be performed by professional engineers.
To avoid electric shock, wear insulation gloves and shoes and use insulated tools when
installing battery packs.
At least two persons are required to move a battery pack because it is heavy.

Install floating nuts on the cabinet.
