Materials: containers to be hoisted, 3 mm thick spacers made of passivated 304 stainless steel

or hot-dip Q235 zinc (to be purchased onsite)

Skill requirement: skilled technicians, common technicians, and crane driver

Procedure

Step 1 Adjust the container in the installation direction, connect the steel hoisting ropes, and hoist the

container onto the bases.

Step 2 After hoisting containers onto the bases, measure the levelness of the container using a level.

If the container is not level, level it using a jack and spacers.

Step 3 Turn the twistlocks in the bases by 90 degrees to lock the container and tighten the twistlocks

to a torque of 210 N· m using a torque wrench, as shown in

Before you tighten twistlocks, ensure that the twistlocks lock the container.
