9.5.3 Installing a VCN500

Prerequisites
Required VCN500s have been obtained.
Preparations
Tool: Phillips screwdriver
Materials: VCN500
Documents: monitoring device installation position diagram, cabinet configuration tables
Skill requirement: common technician
Procedure
Step 1 Determine the number of VCN500s to be installed and the installation positions based on the
monitoring device installation position diagram and cabinet configuration tables.
Step 2 Take a VCN500 out of the fitting bag.
Step 3 Place floating nuts into the specified square holes.

The RH2288 server uses dual power supplies. The two power cables connect to two different rPDUs.
