Step 5 Loosen the screws that secure a guide rail. See

Step 6 Remove the other guide rail on the opposite side in the same way.

3.6.2 Removing a Server and Adjustable Guide Rail

Step 1 Wear an ESD wrist strap or ESD gloves. For details, see
Step 2 Power off the server. For details, see
Step 3 Disconnect all power cables and signal cables from the server.
Step 4 Remove the server.

Pull out the server along the guide rails away from the cabinet. See (2) in
Place the removed server on an ESD platform.
NOTE
Remove power cables first to prevent damage or injury caused by static electricity.
Loosen the captive screws on the server panel using a screwdriver. See (1) in
3-33.
