Configuring the Access Control List

The Access Control List restricts wireless devices by their MAC addresses from joining the
wireless network. When you enable access control, the ProSafe DGFV338 only accepts
connections from wireless devices whose MAC addresses appear on the trusted access control list.
This provides an additional layer of security. (The default is disabled.)
Note: The MAC address of a wireless device is a unique number that can usually be
found on the bottom label of the device. The format is six pairs of hexadecimal
digits separated by colons (for example: 01:23:45:67:89:AB).
To configure and enable the Access Control List, follow these steps:
1. At the top of the Wireless Settings screen, click the Setup Access List link to display the
Access Control List screen.
