Getting Started
Note:
The Video Conferencing feature requires a Wi-Fi communications network.
Refer to Connecting to a Wi-Fi Network in the Configuring Monitors for Patients chapter for more
information.
Video Conferencing
Fuze Meeting, developed by FuzeBox, Inc. enables seamless high-definition online collaboration between
mobile and desktop users. The basic application, which provides video conferencing capability, is
available on the Genesis Touch monitor. It enables users to experience high-definition video and audio
conferencing, online media storage, integrated presence and secure, persistent chat - all in one easy-to-use
web application.
You must have a Fuzebox license to host a video conference, however the basic application, which is
installed on the Genesis Touch, allows you to attend video conferences hosted by others. Refer to
www.fuzemeeting.com for licensing information and manufacturer's instructions on video conferencing.
Refer to Enabling Video Conferencing in the Configuring Monitors for Patients chapter for information on
how to enable this feature.
Other System Equipment
In addition to the monitor, other equipment can include a wireless scale, SpO2 finger sensor, blood
pressure unit and power accessories. These are all optional accessories. The following pages provide a
general overview of each piece of equipment. For detailed specifications, refer to the manufacturer's
documentation. Contact information and web locations have been provided here for your convenience.
The Genesis Touch device is configured to work with only Honeywell HomMed-approved peripherals.
When purchasing these approved peripheral devices, ensure you are purchasing a peripheral that the
manufacturer has prepared to work with a Genesis Touch. This helps provide proprietary Honeywell
pairing capability, for a secure Bluetooth connection.
