Configuring Monitors for Patients
Setting Up Peripherals
For information on setting up peripherals, including how to pair peripherals, refer to the Genesis Touch
Getting Started (P4810).
Setting Up Language and Units
Currently the Genesis Touch system can be programmed to speak in U.S. English, U.K. English or
Spanish. Additionally, the monitor can be configured to use either American Standard units or Metric units.
Selecting the Monitor's Language
This section assumes that you are at the General Settings screen. Refer to Getting to the General Settings
Screen for more information. The password you will need is: 4237.
To set the monitor's language:
1. From the General Setting screen, select Locale. A screen similar to the following appears:
2. Select the check box next to the language that you want the monitor to use. A check mark appears in
that box to indicate that it has been selected.
3. Select back. The General Settings screen appears.
Selecting Units
The monitor defaults to American Standard units, but you have the ability to set units to metric.
To set the monitor's units to metric:
1. From the General Setting screen, select Locale. A screen similar to the following appears:
