Indicates that the
FPGA can be read
and written.
Gets set when it is
not possible to read
and write to the
EEPROM in an
installed OSM.
Status of +24V and
–5V power inputs.
Alarms when the
100 MHz clock does
not lock on to the 1
MHz reference.
Alarm when 125
MHz clock will not
lock on 100 MHz
clock.
Transmitter 1 is
missing.
Laser 1 is near end
of life.
Laser 1 temperature
is out of spec.
Transmitter 2 is
missing.
Laser 2 is near end
of life.
Operation Using the ICIM
Indication Possible Cause
Fault
Hardware failure.
Fault
Ensure OSM is fully seated.
Remove and reinstall OSM.
Fault
Check power supplies. Make
sure the module is fully
seated in chassis.
Fault
Ensure module Clk_Src has
not been accidentally set to
Slave. If in Slave mode make
sure there is a valid 1 MHz
reference present.

Hardware failure.

Ensure transmitter 1 is
installed and fully seated.

Time to replace transmitter.

Ensure transmitter is within
temperature specs and laser
has had a chance to stabilize.
Ensure transmitter is installed
