bdr Transmit Processor Overview
The Prisma II optical network is an advanced transmission system designed to
optimize network architectures and increase reliability, scalability, and cost
effectiveness. The Prisma II bdr 2:1 Redundant Transmit Processor is designed to
operate over a range of optical output powers and loss budgets, delivering both
analog and digital signals. Microprocessor control allows ease of installation and
flexibility of application. The Prisma II bdr 2:1 Redundant Transmit Processor
houses up to two bdr transmitter sub-modules.

The Prisma II bdr 2:1 Redundant Transmit Processor has the following features.
Front panel green LED to indicate operating status
Front panel red LED to indicate alarm status
-20 dB A/D converter input test points
Two bdr transmitter sub-module insertion slots

Compatible with Cisco LCI and TNCS software
Blind mate RF connections
