When an Sx500 device operates in Native Stacking mode, S1 and S2 operate as
regular network ports, and S3 and S4 operate as stack ports by default. On the
SG500X, S1 and S2 are stack ports by default. You can manually reconfigure S1/
S2 and S3/S4 as network ports or stack ports. All the stack ports on a device that
operate in Standalone mode automatically become regular Ethernet network
ports.
