I Promotion function
Your POS terminal provides following three types of the promotional sales (Mix-and-match/ Automatic
modifier/ Happy hour). This operation is the same as for normal PLUs/UPCs.
You can program the term of usability (start or end date/time, day of week, month of year) for the promotion
function.
• Mix-and-match function
This function is convenient for matching several PLU/UPC items and selling them as a form of discount. The
promotion table consists of the trip level for discount (satisfying count of entered item), the discount type and
its value. One table can be assigned a max. of five kinds of items.
You can select the unconditional assort type (global trip level) or the set selling type (individual trip level) for
the mix-and-match table. For the discount type, there are four kinds (Amount discount type, % discount
type, Free product, Discount cheapest item, and Selling price type).
When the mix-and-match item is entered, a message for promotion can be displayed automatically. This
message is programmable for each mix-and-match (Ex.: "2 Buds, 1 Coors is free").
If the transaction that the mix-and-match item is registered is finalized, the sales amount may be discounted
as follows:
