I Network functions
• Data server
The data server function is used for access to the database.
• Network information management
Each IP address of the client is managed by the POS server.
• Version up of the client software
The newest software data can be downloaded from the POS server.
• Date/time setting
The date/time of the client will be refreshed by the POS server.
• Open store/Close store
When the open store operation is performed at the POS server, the system is opened and the registration
function becomes available at all the clients in the system.
When the close store operation is performed at the POS server, the system is closed and the registration
function becomes unavailable at all the clients in the system. It should be noted that for the close store
operation, all the clients must be in their SIGN-OFF state.
• Upload/Download
It is possible to upload/download the data (all database/preset database/individual database) to/from the
POS server.
• T-log/sales data gathering
It is possible to gather the T-log/sales data from the POS server to the headquarters.
The headquarters must be continuously connected to the POS server.
• Message for the operator/clerk
It is possible to send a message to the operator/clerk from the POS server.
• Software update
Software updated on the Master terminal is automatically sent to the client terminal(s).
