Customer management

Your POS terminal provides a customer management function.
To enable the customer management function, enter the customer code assigned to the customer. You can
enter the customer code at any point during a transaction.
Normal customer information (name, code and address) is pre-programmed.
However, you can enter new customer information during a transaction. When an undefined customer code
is entered, you can enter the customer's name and address which will be saved in the customer file.
The registered customer can be allowed to defer their payment of the bill. Take the tentative finalization
using the [Cust. Charge] key.
Procedure
• Look-up by customer code
(1) Touch the [CUST] key (or
(2) Enter the customer code (or scan the customer card or scan bar-code of the customer).
(3) The customer's data is displayed. Enter the transaction.
• Look-up by customer's name
(1) Touch the [CUST] key.
(2) Touch the [ENTER] key without entering any code. The window is displayed for entering name.
(3) Enter the customer's name.
The suitable customer list is displayed.
(4) Select the designated customer.
(5) The customer's data is displayed. Enter the transaction.
• Entering the new customer code
(1) Touch the [CUST] key (or
(2) Enter the customer code (or scan the customer card or scan bar-code of the customer).
(3) The window is displayed for entering name and address. Enter name and address.
(4) The new customer will be defined. Enter the transaction.
NOTE
• The customer code entry is inhibited after the payment operation.
• When the wrong code is registered, use the following procedure to cancel it.
If no item has been entered, touch the [Nosale] key.
If the item entry has been made, perform the subtotal void operation.
