I Single item cash sale (SICS)/single item finalize (SIF) entries
• SICS entries
This function is useful when a sale is for only one item and is for cash. This function is applicable only to
those items that have been programmed for SICS.
The transaction is finalized and the drawer opens as soon as you enter the SICS item.
NOTE
• If entries to PLU/UPC set for SICS follows PLUs/UPCs not set for SICS, it does not finalize and results in
a normal sale.
• SIF entries
If entries to PLU/UPC set for SIF follows PLUs/UPCs not set for SIF, the transaction is finalized immediately
as a cash sale.
Like the SICS function, this function is available for single-item cash settlement.
I PLU categories
The terminal allows the user to classify the categories of the item (direct PLU) keys.
The category (main category) key is also able to have other categories (sub-categories). This enables
category trees.
When the item (direct PLU) key is programmed within the category, touch the corresponding category key
(main category), then select the item (or sub-category).
