Installing the Stabilizers

Parts needed for this procedure:

Stabilizer

Pin (1-1/2 x 8 inch)

Snap ring (1-1/4 inch)

Procedure
1. Lubricate the inside diameter of the 1-1/4-inch and
1-1/2-inch bushings of the stabilizers with grease at the
front and back plates of the backhoe

2. Lubricate the inside diameter of the 1-1/4-inch and
1-1/2-inch pivot point with grease at the front and
back side plates of the stabilizers
3. Lubricate the inside diameter of the 1-1/4-inch holes
with grease at both ends of the hydraulic actuators
(Figure
18).
4. Align the pivot point at the front and back side plates
of one of the stabilizers to the lower bushings in the
backhoe frame

1. Snap ring (1-1/4 inch)
2. Pin (1-1/2 x 8 inch)
5. Insert a pin (1-1/2 x 8 inch) through the holes in the
backhoe frame and the stabilizer
6. Secure the pin with 2 snap rings (1-1/4 inch) as shown
in

19.
7. Repeat steps
