3. Apply grease to the grease fitting.
Note: Use a lithium-base grease.
Note: Clean up any excess grease on the walkway
pivot with a rag.
4. Rotate the walkway clockwise until the hole in the
forward, horizontal flange of the walkway is aligned
with the hole in the horizontal flange of the walkway
support bracket (Figure
Note: Raise or lower the pivot bracket as needed to
align the walkway with the walkway support bracket.
5. Tighten the bolts and nuts that secure the pivot support
bracket to the fuel-tank flange
6. Secure the walkway to the walkway support bracket
with the locking pin

Parts needed for this procedure:

Procedure
1. Align the holes in the bracket for the hand rail with the
holes in the seat post

2. Secure the hand rail to the bracket of the seat post with
2 flange bolts (8 x 25 mm) and 2 flange nuts
3. Align the holes of the bottom of the seat with the holes
in the bracket on the seat arm
4. Apply medium-grade (service removable)
thread-locking compound to the 4 bolts (5/16 x 7/8
inch) from loose parts.
5. Secure the seat to the support of the seat post with 4
bolts (5/16 x 7/8 inch) and 4 lock washers; refer to
Figure 17.
