5.9 Remote Log On

This section provides instructions for logging on to FTP and Telnet on the acquisition PC from a
remote site.
5.9.1

FTP Logon

Procedure
1. In the Windows Start menu, select Run.
2. In the Run dialog, enter cmd and click
OK.
A command window appears.
3. At the > command prompt, enter the
following command:
> ftp <IP-address> [Enter]
4. When prompted for a user name, enter:
> CardioMD [Enter]
5. When prompted for a password, enter:
> CardioMD [Enter].
The ftp> prompt appears indicating that the
acquisition PC is ready to receive ftp
commands.

Telnet Logon

Procedure
1. In the Windows Start menu, select Run.
2. In the Run dialog, enter cmd and click
OK.
A command window appears.
3. At the > command prompt, enter the
following command:
> telnet <IP-address> [Enter]
4. When prompted for a user name, enter:
> CardioMD [Enter]
5. When prompted for a password, enter:
