DTC 41-2x (41-20 to 41-29, 41-2A to 41-2F),
41-3x (41-30 to 41-39, 41-3A to 41-3F),
41-8x(41-80 to 41-89, 41-8A to 41-8F),
41-Bx (41-B0 to 41-B9, 41-BA to 41-BF):
Internal Failure of the Left Front Impact
Sensor
1. Erase the DTC memory (see page 23-39).
2. Turn the ignition switch ON (II), and check that the
SRS indicator comes on for about 6 seconds and
then goes off.
Does the SRS indicator stay on?
YES Replace the left front impact sensor (see
page 23-388).
NO Intermittent failure, system is OK at this time.
Go to Troubleshooting Intermittent Failures (see
page 23-39).

DTC 42-2X (42-20 to 42-29, 42-2A to 42-2F),
42-3X (42-30 to 42-39, 42-3A to 42-3F),
42-8X (42-80 to 42-89, 42-8A to 42-8F),
42-BX (42-B0 to 42-B9, 42-BA to 42-BF):
Internal Failure of the Right Front Impact
Sensor
1. Erase the DTC memory (see page 23-39).
2. Turn the ignition switch ON (II), and check that the
SRS indicator comes on for about 6 seconds and
then goes off.
Does the SRS indicator stay on?
YES Replace the right front impact sensor (see
page 23-388).
NO Intermittent failure, system is OK at this time.
Go to Troubleshooting Intermittent Failures (see
page 23-39).
