Chapter 7 Error message
Error messages displayed on the screen are classified into errors related to inverter and WOP
errors. They appears on the screen as shown below.
（For inverter error messages、please refer to the inverter instruction manual）
(1) The message related to inverter
Display
No signal is received
COM ERROR
from the inverter
within 4 sec.
WRITE key is
INV in
pressed while the
TRIP mode
inverter trips.
・The WRITE key is
INV in
RUN mode
・Soft-lock is turned
An attempt was
made to write
INV Type
parameter between

Cause
・Check Inverter type
・Check the connector for

Resetting Method
・Change to correct
Inverter type.
(Refer to section 4.6)
・Replace the cable.
（Please use the
recommended cable）
Reset the inverter from the
trip status.
・The WRITE key should be
pressed only while the
inverter stops.
・Release the Soft-Lock (of
the inverter).
Writing is possible only
between the same type
inverters.
Release [Read Lock]
If the same error recurs,
please check the inverter
(NOTE: It happens
sometimes when writing
data into a different voltage
class and capacity of the
inverter.)
