-io-offloading
■
Example(s)
The following example sets up the subsystem parameter:
CLI> set subsystem-parameters -load-balance enable -tp-alloc-mode tpp-balancing
Optional. This parameter specifies whether to enable the Checkcode Enforcement mode. If this
mode is enabled, error detection within the ETERNUS DX Disk storage system is enhanced.
When write data is duplicated, the checkcodes of all the data blocks are checked. If omitted,
the existing settings are not changed. The initial value is set to "disable".
enable
The Checkcode Enforcement mode is enabled.
disable
The Checkcode Enforcement mode is disabled.
Optional. This parameter specifies whether to enable I/O Offloading. I/O Offloading performs a
part of the I/O processing on ROE and improves the maximum IOPS performance.
•
Rebooting the ETERNUS DX Disk storage system is required to enable the new
configuration.
•
When the I/O load is low, I/O Offloading has no effect.
•
When the ROE busy rate is high, I/O Offloading may not improve performance.
•
I/O Offloading is only available for the ETERNUS DX8700 S2.
enable
I/O Offloading is enabled.
disable
I/O Offloading is disabled.
